The new female supergroup CHIKKA shared videos of their first photo shoot and practice session with fans over the weekend. Chikka is comprised of talented singers Anjelique, Briana, Sarah Monique and Savannah Votion.
The quartet, formed by producer Eric “E-Rock” Avalos, wanted to give fans a behind the scenes look at what the new group was doing to prepare for their debut at the 2017 Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair in March.
“Our first photo shoot together,” Sarah Monique said in the Facebook live video posted by Briana. “We’re excited, having fun.”
The photo shoot was done by the multi-talented singer and digital media specialist Jimencio and the photos will be published soon to promote Chikka.
The ladies also had their first practice session together and Tejano Nation was there, as contributor Mingo Mariano shared a Facebook Live video of the group’s practice session.
“Las Que Se Ponen Bien La Falda” will be the lead single from an upcoming Chikka album, that will also feature three new tracks from each artist with a bonus track.
Chikka’s debut performance will be in March during the 2017 Tejano Music Award’s Fan Fair in San Antonio, Texas.
