Evolucion released a cover of “Mi Llamada”, the 1991 hit from La Mafia, as the band’s latest single on Wednesday (February 3).
The track was recorded at La Farra Records in Brownsville, Texas and engineered by Chex Lozano and Frank Lozano of Revo Live Band and Evolucion’s Sergio Mendoza and Chris Ramirez.
“First single we release as a cover from one of our favorite artist and hope all the fans enjoy it,” Ramirez told Tejano Nation. “And it also debuts our bajo player Sergio Mendoza who has jumped to lead vocals in this single. Hope everyone likes Evolucion style of ‘Mi Llamada’.”
Evolucion, Best New Artist nominees at the 2015 Tejano Music Awards, plans to record the full album with Revo Live Band, both Jules Entertainment artists.
