It’s a boy! Singer Tina Mares and musician Billy Silva have welcomed a son. Christian Alexander Silva was born early Saturday (August 26) at Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio.

The couple turned to Facebook to share the happy news and photos of their new bundle of joy.
“Friends and family I introduce you to Christian Alexander Silva,” Mares posted on her personal Facebook page along with photos.
It’s the first baby for the couple, who was born at 12:30 a.m. weighing in at 6 lbs. and 18 1/2 inches long.
Silva, percussionist for both Mares’ band and Ben Ozuna, was excited about being a new dad.
“Not gonna blow up my fb with my baby’s pics but I can’t get over him,” Silva posted on his Facebook page.
Congrats to the happy couple on the birth of their son!
