Ben Ozuna has released a cover of “Quítate La Pena” for latest single.
“It’s a song that invites people, specifically women, to let loose,” Ozuna told Tejano Nation. “[It] talks about just that; to not be embarrassed or ashamed of giving in to your inhibitions.”
“Quítate la Pena” (English: “Don’t be ashamed”), is an upbeat cumbia originally released as a pop song by Colombian boy band Piso 21 in 2015.
“It was a fun song to do and we hope that our fans can enjoy it just as much as we did making it,” Ozuna added.
This is the follow-up to Ozuna’s hit song “Ginza”, a cover of the worldwide smash from Reggaeton star J. Balvin.
Ozuna, the former lead vocalist for David Lee Garza Y Los Musicales, released his solo debut album Tu Lado De La Cama in July 2016. It featured the hit singles “La Mejor De Todas”, “Crei” and the title track.
