A.B. Quintanilla failed to show for a court hearing Friday morning in Corpus Christi, Texas, and a warrant remains for his arrest.

Caller.com reports the 53-year-old musician was expected to appear in court on Friday as part of an ongoing child support case.

The Grammy winner was not in the courthouse by 9:30 a.m. and a bench warrant against him was continued by 347th District Judge Missy Medary.

“I’m not going to withdraw the warrant,” the judge said. “If he gets arrested, he gets arrested.”

Quintanilla’s hearing was rescheduled for Aug. 16.

On Monday, the Grammy winner found himself on the Nueces County Most Wanted list for failing to appear in court for a hearing that dealt with non-payment of child support. According to a report from the state Attorney General’s office, Quintanilla owes more than $87,000. That same report says the case dates back to 2012 and the last time he paid child support was in September 2015.
