Jimmy Gonzalez Y Grupo Mazz are hard at work on their next studio album, according to a couple of Facebook videos shared on Tuesday night (Mar. 21). The multiple Grammy Awards winning band are currently in the Legends Sound Studios at Freddie Records in Corpus Christi working on the follow-up to their latest album Que Cante El Mundo, released in May 2016.
One of videos, shared on the band’s official Facebook page, features Gonzalez talking about the album.
“Yes, we’re at the studio, our home away from home,” Gonzalez said in the video. “We’re excited because we have a beautiful CD coming out. We don’t know the name yet, but it’s going to be really good…the CD is going to come out hopefully by summer…we have a lot of beautiful songs.”
Gonzalez then shared a preview of one of the songs from the upcoming album.
