Vic Gonzalez is not only a photographer for Tejano Nation but also a friend and a family member to many of us in the Tejano community. He has captured the essence of Tejano music and culture through his lens for many years and has also contributed to the promotion and recognition of emerging artists and Tejano media through his annual Internet Radio Gala. He has captured countless moments of our favorite artists and events with his camera and his smile.
Unfortunately, Vic has been going through a tough time lately. He spent a month in the hospital after multiple surgeries and is now recovering at home. He still has a long way to go before he can resume his normal activities and work.
Vic’s wife, Terry, shared details on a GoFundMe page. “After Vic being hospitalized for 4 weeks we have fallen on hard times trying to catch up on all the bills. It is very hard for Vic to ask for any help. He is always there supporting everyone else. Any kindly donations will help while he is recuperating,” she said.
That’s why we are asking for your help to support Vic and his family with their medical and recovery expenses. If you are a fan of Vic’s work, or if you appreciate his contributions to the Tejano industry, please consider making a donation to his GoFundMe campaign. No amount is too small, and every dollar counts. You can also share the campaign link with your friends and family on social media, and spread the word about Vic’s situation.
Vic is a valuable member of our Tejano community, and he deserves our support and gratitude. Let’s show him that we care about him and that we are here for him in his time of need. Together, we can make a difference in his life.
