Rising New Mexico singer Luisa Gaytan, aka Luisa G, released a new original single, “Soy Nuevo Mexicana,” a powerful ranchera co-written by Valentin Encinia Jr and Gaytan.
This song tells the story of “La Tierra De Encanto, El Estado De Nuevo Mexico, y de la Gente” and mentions the small towns in Mora County, which are near and dear to her heart.
Luisa G has deep roots embedded in the “Land of Enchantment” where her father, Cesario Torres, was born. She has lived in New Mexico, in Mora County, at various times of her life. New Mexico has always been home to her as she straddles the state line between Texas and New Mexico.
Luisa G has been working overtime on a second studio album over the past year and is thrilled to announce that the full album will be released in late November 2021. The album, titled La Tejana Nuevo Mexicana, has a mixture of ranchera, waltz, cumbia, and inspirational songs which will get you dancing, drinking, and/or shedding a few tears. The highly-anticipated sophomore album from Luisa G is arranged, engineered, recorded, mixed, and mastered at SJ Records in Las Vegas, New Mexico by award-winning producer Daniel Lee Gallegos.
