Stevie D released “Irremediable” on Friday, the second single from the award-winning singer’s highly-anticipated debut album with legendary record label Freddie Records.
“Irremediable” was produced by Brando Mireles, formerly of Grupo Mazz, and recorded at the famous Legends Sound Studios in Corpus Christi, Texas. It features members of Stevie D and The All-Star Cast adding their skills to the song including Mireles on keyboards, along with Jay Alaniz, formerly with Jimmy Gonzalez, on guitar and bass and the smooth vocals of Stevie D. Other musicians on the track include Grammy winner Chente Barrera on drums and background vocals.

“Oh man! We’re really excited about this one,” Stevie D tells Tejano Nation. “When ‘La Ultima Vez’ came out, written by Juan Treviño, we didn’t know if we were going to be able to top that. That was a beautiful song. We’re always trying to come up with something better.”
The song was co-written by Stevie D, Mireles, and Alaniz.
“This is a ranchera Tejana, it’s really truly a classic Tejano song,” added Stevie D. “The type of song that’s gonna get you on your feet. It’s gonna get you immediately looking for the dance floor and I think we knocked it out of the park with this one.”
“Irremediable” features an irresistibly catchy melody and a sing-along chorus that will immediately have Tejano fans on the dance floor with solid production and incredible musicianship, “Irremediable” promises to be one of the biggest Tejano songs of the year.
Stevie D’s highly-anticipated debut album with new record label Freddie Records is expected to be released before the end of the year and he believes this is his best one yet.
“I’m really excited about it, this is probably the best album that Brando and I have ever produced,” he said. “Again, certainly following that path that you always want to one up (the last one). We’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it already in terms of the people that we have shared some of the songs with and I’m very excited for the release of this album.”
