Isabel Marie Sanchez is one of the brightest stars in Tejano music. The 17-year-old singer, who just graduated high school while navigating an award-winning music career, has released her latest single “La Pollera Colora.”

It is a cover of the iconic and classic song of Colombian and Latin American folklore that was first recorded in the 1960s.

“I had a lot of fun recording it, it is definitely something you can dance to and just let loose, you know, not really think about anything else and just enjoy the music,” Isabel Marie told Fierro HD morning hosts Bo Leo and Jonny Ramirez in an interview. “I loved it!”

I really am so grateful for it. I’m really excited. I think people are going to enjoy this new album.”
