Chente Barrera is currently working on his new album and the GRAMMY winner is paying tribute to one of his biggest influences, the legendary Roberto Pulido Y Los Clasicos. Barrera shared details on the new album, his music career, and much more in an exclusive interview with the Cruz Control with AC Cruz Podcast.
If you ask him, he’ll tell you he was born into the biz. Barrera’s first professional band was when he was 9 years old. He’s been non-stop ever since as the singer, songwriter, and musician, has gigged, recorded, arranged, produced for some of the biggest names in Tejano music.
He tells AC Cruz how it always wasn’t that easy, from the violent death of his father to the advice that was given to him from other artists to his upcoming album, Para El Primo, and much more.
