Tejano radio personality Jonny Ramirez returns to the airwaves at KQTC-FM, beginning May 2, 2016.
Legendary Tejano radio personality Jonny Ramirez will return to the radio airwaves at Saver Media’s KQTC-FM (Q99.5) in San Angelo, Texas, beginning Monday, May 2.
In October, the longtime radio personality was shockingly let go from Univision Radio’s KXTN in San Antonio during a round of budget cuts. Ramirez had been with the Tejano radio station for over 22 years, most of that time serving as the station’s morning host.
“Jonny is a true Tejano radio pioneer and we are very happy that he’ll bring his years of experience and unique personality to wake up the listeners of San Angelo and the Concho Valley on Q99.5,” KQTC Program Director John Henry Medina told Tejano Nation.
The Jonny Ramirez Morning Show will air weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and can be heard on Q99.5 FM, online at Q99SanAngelo.com or via the Q99.5 app, available for free from the app store.
