The 9th annual Cowtown Conjunto Festival scheduled for April 29 at Billy Bobs Texas in Fort Worth, Texas has been postponed due to the current coronavirus pandemic.

“After several discussions within our partners, Billy Bobs Texas and in accordance with mandates from the City of Fort Worth, the 9th Annual Cowtown Conjunto Festival has been postponed,” organizers DigiTech Entertainment said in a statement.

“Cowtown Conjunto takes the health and well-being of our community very seriously,” the statement continued. “Our attendees, artists, and staff are, and will always be our number one priority. We understand there is a lot of concern and uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus.”

The current COVID-19 pandemic is evolving at a rapid pace and every day brings new mandates and recommendations. Businesses and organizations of every size and style are making incredibly difficult decisions about how to best navigate this completely uncharted territory, according to the statement.

Cowtown Conjunto organizers are working diligently with artists and their representatives to evaluate upcoming concerts and activities and the possibility of postponing and rescheduling dates to later in the year.

“We will continue to monitor the federal, state, and local guidelines and adjust accordingly in the days and weeks ahead,” organizers said. “Like most of the world, we are adapting to the impacts of the coronavirus on life and business. We greatly appreciate your understanding and support during these difficult times.”
