San Antonio radio station KXTN, that spent almost three decades providing Tejano music on the FM dial at 107.5, shifts to back to AM and slides over to an HD side channel beginning today.

The move was made by Univision to debut a new rhythmic Adult Contemporary radio station, Vibe 107.5, according to InsideRadio.com. The format, which features pop, Hip-Hop and R&B artists from the 1980s and 2000s, joins Univision’s recently relaunched Uforia Audio Network.

“We are excited to launch a brand-new format that reflects the distinct musical tastes of our community here in San Antonio, one of the most diverse in the nation,” VP/GM Chris Morris said in a release. “By reformatting and optimizing our audio portfolio we’re able to better serve our audience and give them more of the content they love.”

KXTN will keep it “Tejano & Proud” on KVBH 107.5 HD2 and KXTN 1350 AM and is also available on the Uforia app. The station will still be a part of the Univision San Antonio Fan Fair, Tejano Thursdays and Fiesta Navideña.
