Torres has spent the past year covering news in the Midwest area of the U.S., currently as an anchor and reporter for the new streaming network Studio 309 in Peoria, Illinois. She also served as News Director for Cromwell Radio Group in Effingham, Illinois, and producer for WEEK-TV in Peoria, Illinois. She gained experience at jobs in New York, New Jersey and Tennessee over the past five years. She also contributes to EvoNews.com.
Torres is a native of San Antonio, Texas, and a 2011 graduate of Business Careers High School. She received an Associates of Arts degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies from the University of Phoenix in 2014 and a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Full Sail University in 2016.
