Tejano star Roger Velasquez and Hollywood star Jesse Borrego have been friends since high school in San Antonio, Texas and now the duo have released another collaboration, “La Bandera de Tejas,” from Velasquez’s new album Tex Mex Funk.
Tejano Nation caught up with Harlandale High School alum at the Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair and the pair talked about their longtime friendship, the use of Velasquez’s “Mal Hombre” song in the classic film “Blood In, Blood Out” and their latest single.
